Regirer Nursing Scholarship Applications
Is long term care nursing your passion? Scholarships are available for individuals who want to pursue their LPN or RN degrees and continue to work in long term care. The scholarships are awarded to employees of VHCA-VCAL member nursing center and assisted living communities based on need and commitment to long term care.
Before You Begin
The online portion of the Regirer Nursing Scholarship application must be completed in one sitting. You will not be able to save your progress and return later.

- Educational background
- Work history
- Financial Information & nursing school cost

- Each applicant must provide reference forms from each of the following :

- Facility Administrator
- Direct Supervisor
- Supervisor in Facility/Center (or department head, but not direct supervisor)
About the Regirer Nursing Scholarship
VHCA-VCAL’s Commonwealth Long Term Care Foundation awards nursing scholarships annually to individuals who work in VHCA-VCAL member nursing centers and assisted living communities who want to become LPNs and RNs and continue working in long term care.
Through a generous gift by Walter and Maria Teresa Regirer, along with other fundraising efforts by VHCA-VCAL members, the Commonwealth Long Term Care Foundation is able to offer a select number of $2,000 nursing education scholarships to qualified individuals each year.
